Deprecated — use Cancel contract bundle (POST /contract-bundles/{contractBundleId}/cancel) to end coverage for a planholder and their dependants, or Cancel a single contract holder to cancel one dependant. This endpoint is scheduled for removal.

Cancel member insurance request with one of the predefined cancellation reasons.

Member id.

Cancellation reason.

date | null

Desired insurance cancellation date in YYYY-MM-DD format. Based on this date, the system determines the closest date on which coverage can end. Coverage can only end on the 14th or on the last day of a month, so the effective cancellation date is always one of those. The date must be in the future and on or before the end of coverage.
